TYPES OF MASSAGE
SWEDISH MASSAGE
Uses massage oils to facilitate smooth, gliding strokes over the entire body. Light to medium pressure.
Breaks the vicious cycle of tension in your body. Great massage session for those everyday aches and pains.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Manipulation of the body’s soft tissue to stimulate circulation and promote relaxation. Firm to very firm pressure.
This is the ideal form of massage therapy for anyone suffering from pain and discomfort due to overexertion, intensive exercise, recovering from injuries, or prefers a very deep pressure.
ASHIATSU MASSAGE
Ashiatsu is an updated, Western version of an ancient form of bodywork: massage using the feet. Though gentle, Ashiatsu offers a depth unmatched by any other massage technique. The therapist uses bars suspended from the ceiling to adjust the amount and angle of pressure. The pressure is firm and constant as the body is being, quite literally, ironed out.
Our Tao Massage Ashiatsu signature is a combination of hands on and Ashiatsu work.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE

Hot Stone Massage
Warm stones are combined with traditional Swedish massage to dissolve muscle tension and encourage deep relaxation.
LYMPHATIC BODY CONTOURING
This treatment uses the therapist’s hands and wooden tools to stimulate the Lymphatic system and boost the immune system. It is highly effective at smoothing cellulite and encouraging collagen production. It also helps with water retention, improves circulation and helps the digestive system! Best results when done in a series of four or more.
THAI MASSAGE
Thai massage uses gentle yet deep pressure and stretching techniques to relax the whole body.
The technique that Thai massage practitioners use is very different from what people in the West may be accustomed to. Unlike most massage techniques, in which a person passively lies on a table, during the Thai Massage the client lies on a comfortable mat on the floor and participates more actively in the massage.
